Welcome to the website of the La Porte High School Girls Cross Country team. We set many high goals for the season and have been amazed all season at how we accomplished every one. We even did a lot of things we couldn't have hoped for. We finished second in the Duneland Conference, the hardest conference in the state, with a 7-1 record. We also won the New Prairie Sectional Title for the first time in La Porte girls cross country history. We were regional runner-up behind Chesterton, who is the one DAC school we hadn't beaten. Hadn't beaten until Semi-State that is, where we finally beat Chesterton and came home with the Semi-State title. We also accomplished our goal of top ten at state by taking the fifth place position.
